The role

At Trendwick, you check our products before they reach clients. You use them the way a client would, find mistakes and report them clearly so developers can fix them.

If you have a sharp eye for small details, you will enjoy this job. New to testing? We train you.

Open to any graduate or post-graduate from any year. Freshers, career-gap candidates and career switchers are welcome.

Skills for this role: Manual testing, Writing test cases, Bug reporting, Jira, SDLC and STLC basics, Web and mobile testing, Attention to detail, MS Excel, Basic SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the feature: read what a new feature is supposed to do, and ask questions if anything is unclear.
  • Write test cases: write simple steps to test it and what should happen.
  • Test by hand: test our websites, apps and tools step by step.
  • Test trading tools: test our indicators and EAs on TradingView, MetaTrader and cTrader using demo accounts. We train you.
  • Test the AI assistant: ask it questions and check that the answers are correct, polite and safe.
  • Report bugs: log each bug in Jira with clear steps and screenshots or screen recordings.
  • Check fixes: test again after developers fix a bug.
  • Test everywhere: try the product on different browsers, phones and computers.
  • Keep records: keep a simple record of what you tested and the results.

Requirements

  • A basic idea of software testing, or the interest to learn it.
  • A sharp eye for detail.
  • Good written English and any Indian language.
  • Comfortable using computers and installing software.
  • No trading knowledge needed; we train you.
