Associate Software Engineer

The role

At Trendwick, you write code for our trading tools (indicators and EAs for TradingView, MetaTrader and cTrader) and for our new AI chat assistant and AI agents.

Senior developers guide you every day. Basic Python, Java and C are enough to start; we teach you the rest.

Open to any graduate or post-graduate from any year. Freshers, career-gap candidates and career switchers are welcome.

Skills for this role: Python, Java, C, OOP basics, Data structures and algorithms, SQL basics, Git and GitHub, Problem solving, Using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini).

Responsibilities

  • Build the AI assistant: write Python code for our AI chat assistant and AI trading agents.
  • Work with AI models: connect our apps to AI models like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and test how well they answer.
  • Write prompts: write and improve the instructions (prompts) that tell the AI what to do.
  • Make trading tools: build indicators and EAs for TradingView (Pine Script), MetaTrader (MQL4/MQL5) and cTrader (C#). We train you.
  • Turn rules into code: convert trading rules (when to buy, when to sell, stop loss, target) into working code.
  • Work with market data: get live prices from APIs and work with the data in Python.
  • Use Java and C: write Java and C code when a project needs it.
  • Test your code: check your own code and fix bugs found by the testing team.
  • Save and share code: use Git to save your work and learn from code reviews.
  • Write notes: write short notes about what you built so others can use it.

Requirements

  • Basic Python, Java and C (good to have).
  • Logical thinking and a love for learning.
  • English and any Indian language.
  • No trading knowledge needed; we train you.
